Finland's Most Experienced Instructors
When you visit Osuva you’ll be working with Finland’s most experienced firearms instructors. Our instructors are always present on the range to ensure your safety, provide tips on shooting technique and talk guns. While our instructors take safety very seriously, they are also easy-going and approachable and the atmosphere on the range is relaxed.
We're all Yours!
For private events our range and instructors are reserved entirely for your group. Group sizes can range from 3-21 people and take 1 to 2.5 hourse, depending on the numbers of participants. If you have a larger group, we can still probably accommodate you, but as we only have seven lanes on the range, waiting times may be a bit long.
Safety first. The event begins with an introduction to firearms, safety rules, and the basics of shooting. The introduction can be held in Finnish or English. After that, you’ll head to the range, where two instructors will guide you through safe and proper shooting techniques. They will also introduce you to different firearms and their history.

As the whole range and two instructors are reserved just for your group, the minimum fee for private events is 600 € or 750 € on Sundays..

- After starting off with rimfire pistols, we'll move on to a large collection of commonly used 9mm pistols. After every string of fire, you get to choose another gun to try, so you can really get a good feel for a variety of weapons with this option.

- Our most popular option gives you access to our entire firearm selection. You'll get to try out a variety of different pistols and revolvers, from small-caliber handguns to powerful .44-Magnum firearms. Before you start shooting, we'll go over the unique features and history of each firearm, and tell you which movies or TV series you might recognize them from, and who held them.
Looking for a longer event or something more than just shooting? How about starting off with a shooting session using our full range of firearms at the indoor shooting range in Tähtitorninmäki, then heading upstairs to Helaxe to throw some axes and enjoy a few beverages?

Axe Throwing

- Our Double Trouble event combines our Gold event with with Axe Throwing at Helaxe, our sister company located adjacent to our Tähtitorninmäki range. You'll spend an hour and a half shooting at Osuva and another hour throwing axes. At Helaxe you'll also go through a brief introduction with the instructors, after which you'll practice your throws. Once you're getting your axes to stick, the instructors will walk you through some simple but challenging games.
